The Locations

Before anything else, full-disclosure: I am the Location Manager for this film. So while I am absolutely biased, I do have some grading criteria that I can offer.

I think the locations in “A Moment To Remember” are perfect. The combination of the rural village, seacoast towns, and bustling cityscapes provide a wonderful variety that helps to tell the story without being intrusive or heavy-handed.

The film opens with our lead character, Su-jin, working in a city florist shop. The location scouts did an excellent job of finding a spot that was busy enough to be believable as a place where someone would get their start in the flower business, but not so chaotic that it would be off-putting to audiences.

The second major location is Su-jin’s hometown, a small village nestled in mountains. This was crucial to the film because it needed to contrast sharply with her life in the city. The production team did an amazing job of finding a location that felt isolated and removed from the rest of the world, which helped to create an atmosphere of loneliness and longing.

The final major location is the seaside town where Su-jin and her husband Joon-hyung spend their honeymoon. This was by far the most difficult location to find because it needed to meet such specific criteria: it had to be close enough to the city that they could drive there on a day trip, but it also needed to feel like its own little world; it had to have a beach, but not be too touristy; and most importantly, it had to be beautiful. The town they ultimately chose meet all of those requirements and more. It was an absolutely stunning place and I think audiences will really respond to its beauty.

The Music

One of the most important aspects of any film is the music. It helps set the tone, creates an atmosphere, and can even be a character itself. In A Moment to Remember, the music plays a vital role in conveying the emotions of the characters and the story.

The film’s score was composed by Park Chan-wook’s regular collaborator Jo Yeong-wook, and it is one of the most beautiful and moving scores I have ever heard. It perfectly captures the longing, sadness, and love of the two main characters. The score is also used to great effect in the film’s many montages, which are some of the most beautiful and emotionally effective scenes in the film.

In addition to its incredible score, A Moment to Remember features an amazing soundtrack that features a mix of classical, pop, and rock songs. The classical songs are used sparingly but effectively, particularly in a scene where Su-jin (played by Son Ye-jin) is looking at wedding dresses with her mother. The pop songs are used more often, and they help create a lighthearted and cheerful atmosphere in many scenes. The rock songs are used mostly in scenes featuring John (played by Jung Woo-sung), Su-jin’s husband, and they help convey his rebelious nature.

The music in A Moment to Remember is just as integral to the film as its visuals, acting, or story. It helps create an emotional experience that stays with you long after the credits have rolled.

The Costumes

The costumes in A Moment To Remember are incredible. Every detail has been accounted for, from the clothes to the hairstyles to the accessories. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating the perfect look for each character.

The Make-Up

The Full Movie:
“A Moment To Remember” is a Korean drama that was released in 2004. The story is about a woman who falls in love with a man who has memory loss.
The make-up for the movie was very important to create the desired look for the characters. For the female lead, Choi Ji Woo, a natural and fresh look was created with muted colors. For the male lead, Son Ye Jin, a more glamorous and sophisticated look was created with darker colors.

The Effects

The film examines the lasting effects of war on both the soldiers who fight and their families. It is based on the book by Ron Kovic, who was himself a Vietnam veteran. The film follows Kovic from his early years as a patriotic young Marine through his disillusionment with the war and his return home as a disabled veteran. The film also looks at the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on soldiers and their families.
